ICA is an independent, non-governmental association which unites, represents and serves co-operatives worldwide. Founded in 1895, ICA has 265 member organisations from 96 countries active in all sectors of the economy. Together these co-operatives represent nearly one billion individuals worldwide.

The ICA Strategic Plan represents a global vision of the 'one ICA', including planning for the central and regional offices as well as the sectoral organisations for the period 2009-2012. It includes commonly agreed strategic objectives, key result areas, outcomes and indicators, as well as the strategic initiatives as defined by reach component of the ICA.
ICA Board Code of Governance
Governance refers to how powers are distributed and exercised by different groups. It is concerned with the practices and procedures used by an organisation to ensure that it can meet its objectives. The ICA considers that this Code of Governance is an essential feature in a modern and transparent co-operative organisation.

Διεθνής Συνεταιριστική Συμμαχία, ή μια ακόμα ύπουλη εφαρμογή της Παγκοσμιοποίησης και του Διεθνισμού?
Παρά τις αγνές και ανιδιοτελείς κινήσεις Κοινωνικής Αλληλεγγύης που γίνονται στη χώρα μας, αλλά και παγκόσμια, παρατηρήσαμε πως έχει αναπτυχθεί παράλληλα μία Διεθνής κίνηση, καπήλευση της Ιδέας του Συνεταιρισμού και ενός παγκόσμιου ελέγχου των τοπικών συνεταιριστικών κοινοτήτων, υποσκελίζοντας περιφερειακές και κρατικές αυτοδιοικήσεις.
Δεν είναι η πρώτη φορά, που συναντάμε παγκοσμιοποιητικές κινήσεις καπήλευσης αγνών Ιδεών, ανθρωπισμού, και κοινωνικής αλληλεγγύης, καθώς και προστασίας περιβάλλοντος, όπως συνέβει και με την αλλοίωση του Πράσινου Κινήματος.
Χρειάζεται να είμαστε πάντα καχύποπτοι όσον αφορά, οργανωμένες παγκόσμιες κινήσεις, για το καλό μας, διότι πάντα καραδοκεί ο Διεθνισμός, η Παγκόσμια Διακυβέρνηση, ελέγχοντας τις τοπικές μας κοινωνίες, και καταλύοντας στη συνέχεια όλες τις πολιτισμικές εθνικές ιδιαιτερότητες, δημιουργώντας μία νέα μορφή Πανθρησκείας, και Παγκόσμιας Διακυβέρνησης, εξυπηρετώντας και πάλι το όραμα του Διεθνούς Σιωνισμού, της κυριαρχίας του εβραϊσμού, σε όλους τους λαούς της Γης.
